Akasa Air Baggage Allowance

The check-in baggage allowance for all domestic Akasa Air flights is 15 kgs with the maximum dimensions (L+W+H) of 158 cms (62 inches). Each passenger is permitted to bring one piece of hand luggage into the aircraft cabin.

Passengers are allowed to carry laptop bags, ladies’ purses and duty-free shopping bags, as long as the total weight of their cabin baggage does not exceed 7 kgs.

Akasa Air Extra Baggage Charges

Flyers can save their money and time by pre-booking excess baggage/pieces through the airline’s website. Below are the charges for extra baggage.

For pre-purchasing domestic excess baggage:

> For 3 kgs, it is Rs. 1,350. > For 5 kgs, it is Rs. 2,250. > For 10 kgs, it is Rs. 4,500. > For 15 kgs, it is Rs. 6,750. > For 20 kgs, it is Rs. 9,000. > For 30 kgs, it is Rs. 13,500.

For purchasing excess baggage at the airport:

Rs. 550 per kg.
